That is delightful! But it is waaaay tooooo short! More, please.

If I were to criticise (apart from not being able to get enough of it) I would say I felt the timing wasn't quite right in the last few bars. It feels like there is a time change on the recording. I don't know whether that is down to NP's stressing the wrong notes or just my boring four-square nature coming through. Maybe you could put an accent on the first of each pair of quavers from bar 36 and on the staccato crotchets in the left hand. I dunno? Maybe it would ruin it. I've listened quite a few times now and it still isn't losing it's grip on me.

Thanks Mike! I will look into your comment regarding the stress. I thought using tenuto would be sufficient to describe the phrasing, but will take another pass at it with your comments in mind. The piece was actually conceived as the first part of a trilogy, and I even got around to some starting ideas for the 2nd and 3rd piece. I will revisit this, now that there is one other person in the world who thinks it might have value to do so! Again, thanks for listening and your feedback!
