SOS from the beginning

SOS was formed about 14 years ago as a result of SIBmus (Sibelius Music) ceasing to exist. SOS is intended to fill this gap by providing a platform that allows fellow composers and musicians to communicate. In the intervening period SOS has expanded to include competitions and provide a conduit between budding composers and publishers of music. My vision is that SOS will continue to be a useful site long into the future and that it will grow its reputation as a friendly and informative place for musicians to exchange their musical thoughts and ideas.
