There is a new info found about upcoming changes in the terms for publishing scores on ScoreExchange

They will introduce a reseller function, so scores can be bought also through the Avid Scorch for ipad app, and other "networks" that are not specified yet.

At least SE are trying to get our music out there rather than waiting for people to come and find us. It is just that front page that still needs something doing to it IMHO.

SOS from the beginning

SOS was formed 15 years ago as a result of SIBmus (Sibelius Music) ceasing to exist. SOS is intended to fill this gap by providing a platform that allows fellow composers and musicians to communicate. In the intervening period SOS has expanded to include competitions and provide a conduit between budding composers and publishers of music. My vision is that SOS will continue to be a useful site long into the future and that it will grow its reputation as a friendly and informative place for musicians to exchange their musical thoughts and ideas.
